Engineered Oak Flooring Aged & Distressed

The aged and distressed board comprises of several processes including the shaping of the board, fuming, brushing and other hand crafted skills to create this genuine old looking board.

Step ONE
We shape the board to recreate the worn areas found in some old oak floors.

Step TWO
Wire brushing the board will loosen the softer sap wood leaving a more drift wood effect.

Step THREE
The edges of the boards are now roughened to create a wear line down the length of the board.

Step FOUR
Additional kocks and scraps are now added to create the natural imperfections the board would have received over time.

Step FIVE
The entire board is fumed for a length of time suited to your exact requirements.

As with all our flooing, we wany you to have the right board for your environment. Should you wish to leave out one of processes, thats fine.
